It turns out that Kaliapos;s Grandma Becca also passed this week. Sad. So sad for her parents who just endured the passing of Grandpa Harry a few months ago. What a difficult time for them. :(

Becca was known for saying, "Any woman worth her salt can get a man to do anything." She was hilarious

Iapos;m in Florida. Yesterday was a very_long_day. The one upside to it was managing to catch up with Ian here in the Orlando area who was getting ready to leave on a trip to L.A. This a.m. We ate yummy Thai food and wandered a surprisingly adorable little community called Winter Gardens. Sadly, there wasnapos;t enough time to see the zombie stage show at the theater on main-street.

There was a chance to see Ianapos;s companyapos;s new building which is the only "green certified" building around...the roof has green houses with tanks for tilapia farms, thereapos;s going to be a bar up there, a restaurant on the ground floor serving food that theyapos;ve grown in and around the building, the building has rain-catch containers for the buildings toilets and such, and the area that their office is going to occupy is still under construction but will occupy 7700 square feet of high-ceiling, wonderful space...AND is all in the little "old town" area which is walking distance to Thai food and a French bakery, among other things. The people who live there are also unbelieveably friendly...I mean, kids waving at me out the window, people telling me I look nice in a not creepy way kind of friendly. Adding, of course, to my sense of surreality...

Now Iapos;m north, outside of Ocala. Iapos;m so glad that Iapos;m here -- in the, itapos;s great-to-be-here-for-my-Dad-sense.

For me, my head is still trying to wrap itself around the 36 hour transition of being on vacation in one of my favorite places in the world for a wedding, to being in one of my least favorite places in the world for a funeral. I just woke up from almost 11 hours of sleep and I still feel disoriented.

Internet seems fairly reliable, but my phone and text messages may not be. This is not a bright spot in ATTs network, Iapos;m afraid.

Also, itapos;s muggy and Iapos;ve already been bitten by mosquitos.

I donapos;t know if any of this makes sense...but Iapos;m just going to post it and pretend that it does.
